About the Artist
Sebnem is an Artist whose work explores memory, transformation, and connection through landscapes. For her, painting is an intensely personal journey. She finds comfort in the fleeting moments and impressions that shape our lives. The traces of love and loss take form on my canvas, transforming into tangible echoes of memory. Each line, texture, and colour becomes an expression of growth, change, and resilience. Her art reflects how we move through the world and how we carry beauty within us as we leave our own marks behind. In her cityscapes, she does more than paint a view, she preserves a memory, a love, a loss, or a trace that has transformed her. Through artist's paintings, she hopes to invite others into that same embracing space that art offers her, a place where they, too, might discover their own memories and emotions. Istanbul-born international selling artist currently based in Australia. Originally from Türkiye she now lives and works exclusively from her South Melbourne based studio in Victoria. Sebnem graduated from the Art Department of the Art and Design Faculty of Dogus University. She then went on to work with one of Istanbul’s most prestige galleries for several years before relocating to Australia. Widespread sales throughout Türkiye, USA, Europe and Australia her work appeals to the corporate and domestic markets. Her paintings are vibrantly colorful and highly textured which attracts, collectors, home decorators and designers.
