Peter Tankey

Peter Tankey is an award winning artist who for the past 25 years has exhibited regularly across the country and overseas. His work is held in private, corporate and public collections. “My work is a meditation on the everyday—on the quiet, often unnoticed moments that shape our experience of the world. Whether through landscapes, still life, or nocturnal cityscapes, I seek to reveal the poetry in the ordinary, the way light falls on a deserted street, the way objects hold history, or the way a place tells its own story.Ultimately, my work is about presence—about finding depth in the overlooked and meaning in the mundane. It is an invitation to slow down, to notice, and to appreciate the beauty woven into daily life”. Peter lives and works from the regional city of Ballarat, Victoria.
