Millie Simic

Based on Coochiemudlo, a small island situated approximately a kilometre off the coast of Queensland, between Brisbane and North Stradbroke Island, Millie, is innately influenced by the abundance of foliage and wildlife that inhabit her locality. Unbound to a sole medium or creative methodology, her depictions align with the subject’s intrinsic elements and resonance. Millie paints in a way that depicts her thoughts and feelings of the subject, which has helped her tremendously throughout her adult life and experiences. Millie possesses a BA in Fine Arts from Charles Sturt University and a Masters in Art Therapy from the University of Queensland.
