Lizzie Alsop

Lizzie has been practicing as an artist for over 16 years She grew up on a rural property in the Grampians where she developed a deep connection to her natural surroundings. This is seen infused in her artwork bringing the beauty of nature into her paintings. She paints in organic layers using the patterns found in nature as her muse. Lizzie Alsop is a full time contemporary artist who works from her home studio on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. She has been a creative all her life and launched into her art full time after a move to the coast  over sixteen years ago.  Her artwork is described as a joyful and colourful mix of abstract and realism.   Lizzie loves to create and express the wonder of her natural environment with abstract layers of geometric shapes and botanicals. Her recent work has been influenced by the natural markings found in nature. Lizzie has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia. Her artwork is held in private collections globally.
