Lisa West

Emerging artist Lisa West creates colourful and layered paintings inspired by her affection for everyday objects and nature. Interested in themes of memory and shared experience, Lisa aims to create artwork that is relatable and sentimental. Lisa began painting fulltime from her Brisbane home studio in 2022 after an earlier career working with children and their families in health, education and art gallery settings. Play and exploration is an important part of Lisa's art practise and she loves allowing her artworks to evolve intuitively over time.
