Kathryn Zammit

Kathryn Zammit has a background in illustration and design which influences her painting greatly. Painting mainly in oils she brings her drawing style into her paintings, sometimes recalling an object or memory or instilling her gentle style where she loves capturing colour and light. Painting in her home studio in Melbourne, Kathryn depicts a wide variety of subjects including interiors, nostalgic objects, foods and places. The criteria for her subject matter is that they must be interesting in their lighting, perspective or colour, or they must evoke a feeling of connection and memory. With a background in studying Industrial Design and careers in Interiors, Illustration and running her own greeting card business, Kathryn has settled into painting full time in her home in Mitcham, Victoria.
