A painter of both still life and abstract work, Kate has drawn from both styles to create her signature Flower Fields’ semi-abstract works. Working from her home studio in Perth, she seeks a sense of balance in her painting, wanting it to evoke joy and a quiet energy. Her work combines geometric abstract sections with realist elements and uses unique colour palettes to interweave these pieces into a cohesive work. After many years of painting part time, Kate left her day job in 2024 to pursue a full time career as a painter. She was selected as a Finalist for the Jumbled Art Superstar 2025 competition and enjoys exhibiting work across Australia.
