Karen Dyer

Karen lives and works in the vibrant inner-city suburb of West End in Queensland, and her studio is situated in the West End (Meanjin) Nest Creative Space. Painting solely in oil and with a primary focus on producing 'quirky' contemporary realism, Karen works to imbue her chosen subjects with a ‘soul’ or spiritual energy. Inspiration is drawn from a strong interest in the spiritual aspect of English Folklore and Animism.
