Josh Fartch

Josh Fartch draws on the study of materials and process and the indeterminate nature of in-between states: 
between representation and abstraction, material and immaterial, the real and virtual, tomorrow and yesterday. Based at River Studios in Footscray, Melbourne, Fartch holds a Master of Fine Art (Research) from Monash University. He is among the highest-selling artists on Artbid; since the platform launched two years ago, he has sold 28 paintings through its monthly auctions, with multiple works achieving prices above reserve.
