Joseph Christie Evans

Joseph Christie Evans explores the mediums of painting within a fast-paced and technologically influenced period. His work finds its foundations in the form of portraiture and urban landscape, influenced by social media snapshots and historical representations of opulence, and the way in which we construct our identity online. The mediums of his representation have ranged from oil to acrylic on board and canvas - integrating the presentation of the style of realism in a contemporary art context. Joseph graduated from the National Art School with a Graduate Diploma in Fine art in 2021. He has been involved in numerous group and Solo Shows in the sydney area since, most recent solo show "Broadway Duchess" at Chauffer Gallery in mid 2025.
