Jane Canfield

Jane Canfield grew up in an artistic family, with her father, Tony Canfield a collected artist, inventor, motor mechanic, and designer. As a family, they often camped in remote areas and so at an early age, Jane learned to be inspired by nature which continues in her work today. As with her love for Poodles and classic cars...

With more than a dozen solo exhibitions to date, Canfield has works in many private collections in Australia and Internationally. Her landscapes are simplified and reduced, creating an impression of the landscape, and using colour as a driving force for the composition.
