Isabella Bunce is a Sydney-based artist whose oil paintings explore the interplay between time, perception, and memory through an intentionally overexposed, film-inspired palette. Isabella Bunce is a Sydney-based artist with a background in visual storytelling and painterly exploration. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts studies at the National Art School, where her practice was shaped by a focus on observation, materiality, and the poetics of everyday life. Her oil paintings reimagine memory as fluid and unstable, using an overexposed palette and diffused light to dissolve domestic scenes into atmospheric compositions that hover between presence and disappearance.
