Holly Kendall
About the Artist
Holly lives and works on Cammeraygal land in Sydney, where the natural environment deeply informs her art. Her practice centres on abstraction, offering an intuitive way to explore themes of legacy, connection, and memory. In her series Veiled Botanica, Holly explores the profound interconnectedness of the natural world, shaped by both visible and unseen forces. Through finely articulated, intricate linework, she evokes the hidden networks that sustain life, from root systems and leaf veins to the mycelial threads that lie beneath the soil, revealing a delicate and continuous web of connection. Holly’s work is held in private collections in Australia and internationally. Her first solo exhibition, Earth & Salt, took place in September 2025 at The Working Dog Gallery in St Leonards, Sydney. In 2026 she will be exhibiting with Pause Gallery at the Affordable Art Fair.
