Delma White

Delma paints Australian flora, Still Life and rural art. Her Botanical works are always 'in situ' and larger than life. Still Life paintings are big, bold and full of colour. Working women feature in her rural landscapes. She wants to grab the viewers attention. Delma has exhibited and won many awards throughout Western Australia, enjoying successful sales both locally and overseas. Regional businesses collect her works for their local representation. A career highlight was having her work accepted twice to be exhibited at The Melbourne Botanic Gardens Art of Illustration Exhibition. A national art magazine has published several articles on Delma’s work. She was invited as the feature artist to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Armadale Wildflower Society. The forest in the Perth hills is where Delma has her studio. WA flora is her inspiration and she regularly ‘goes bush’ for new subjects to paint. Her Still Life paintings are more than realism. She is a Maximalist artist. Maximalism is the best way for her portray her love for colour.
