Bronwyn Tracey
About the Artist
Bronwyn Tracey is a contemporary Australian artist living on Dja Dja Wurrung country in North-Central Victoria. Her work celebrates the unseen views of her local landscapes. Inspired by native flora, wildlife and landscapes, she creates original artworks that balance careful observation with expressive mark-making. Working primarily in acrylic, Bronwyn’s practice explores texture, form and colour to evoke a strong sense of place and connection to the natural world.
Immersed in the bushland and regional landscapes of her small town, Bronwyn draws inspiration from close observation and ongoing engagement with her surroundings. Her works often begin with field observation and reference imagery, developing into detailed illustrations and vibrant paintings that reflect both the delicacy and resilience of Australian ecosystems. Familiar environments are rendered with clarity and warmth, inviting viewers to pause and reconnect with the everyday beauty of nature.
Bronwyn seeks to foster appreciation for Australia’s natural environment, creating works that are accessible, contemplative and grounded in place.
