Anna Henderson

Anna Henderson lives in the beautiful New England Tablelands in NSW. She creates small to large semi abstract works on canvas and wood. She also works with clay. Anna’s work is somewhat of a journey. Largely influenced by a ceramic background, her landscapes start with a thin plaster base on canvas or wood and left to dry for two days. Then a lot of sanding, scratching etc, a landscape is created through carving back into the surface and using oil sticks, charcoal, oils inks, oil pastels creating a multi layered work. Lots of lines, markings and texture , a landscape with a lot of history.
