Anna Davi is a contemporary mixed-media artist creating layered artworks that blend realism with imagination Anna Davi is a contemporary mixed-media artist based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Creating layered, abstract artworks that blend realism with imagination, her work captures the fleeting presence of our feathered friends, and the imaginary personality of still life scenes, in intimate, often unexpected ways. Working in acrylics, watercolour, and charcoal, Anna’s process is joyful and exploratory. She is drawn to bold mark-making, expressive colour, and the delicate balance between abstraction and fine detail. Each piece invites viewers into a richly textured world where close-up encounters with birds and objects become poetic, personal, and alive with energy. Born in the South West Slopes of New South Wales, Anna now paints from her home studio in Sydney. She has studied with Art2Life in 2023 and 2024 and continues to develop her practice through self-directed learning and experimentation. Anna’s work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions and art prizes across Australia.
